Reverse: Cruz Florenzada or "Flowered Cross" with rampant lions of the Leon family and castles of the Castile family in the quadrants, enclosed in a tressure or ornate border, legend around. Ruler: Philip II; Mint: Mexico City; Country: Mexico. Date: circa 1556-1598; Framed in Sterling with18Kt Yellow Gold prongs. Philip II was the only son of Charles I and Isabella  of Portugal. He was the first Hapsburg King and presides over Spain at the zenith of its golden century.
